Quick answer

Take it out of the pool, empty the basket and rinse it with a hose. It takes about 5 minutes.

Fix it in 4 steps

  1. Press the switch to open the basket cover, lift out the basket and empty it.
  2. Take out the inner filter and rinse both with a hose.
  3. Check the propeller for hair or string, and wipe the sensors with a soft, dry cloth.
  4. Put everything back, close the cover and charge it out of direct sun.

Store it out of the water between cleans. That protects the battery and seals.
