Quick answer

Lift it out, let it drain, empty and rinse the basket, then put it back on the dock.

Fix it in 4 steps

When it parks at the waterline, lift it out gently. It drains itself.
Open the top cover, take out the basket, empty it and rinse it with a hose.
Clear hair and sand from the water outlet and roller brushes, and wipe the sensors.
Once it stops dripping, sit it back on the dock.
